Summary

One thing Amadee Zylrel needs to learn is that the cost of vengeance is too high and that it is the relationships and community with which we surround ourselves that back us up and help us overcome the obstacles that are in our way. She can’t do these things alone, and the more she tries to separate herself from others and tries to strike out on her own, the more she suffers and the farther she gets from her goal. 

It also will show her that her goal is perhaps not the ‘right now’, and that the actions she is taking to try and hurt the God Queen Ryz are doing more to hurt herself than the God Queen. Whether she likes it or not, people have come to depend on her, and she cannot cast them off into the sacrificial fires without it costing her a great deal.  The relationship that Larael, Winter, and Aine exhibit and continue to keep strong even in the depths of adversity and despair shocks Amadee to the core. They sacrifice for each other and lift each other up.

Personality

Lady Amadee Zylrel is outwardly kind, demure, and everything a noblewoman of her rank should be. She is a faithful adherent to the God Queen Ryz and visibly a role model to all Esadi. In fact, there are some that have mistakenly taken her for a sympathizer and Patriot of the God Queen. In reality, she is anything but. She is a high-ranking member of the growing rebellion against the God Queen. She hates Ryz and everything the First-Born stands for. It is sometimes difficult to keep her personal feelings toward the First Born a secret as the fire burns hot within her. She is a fiery spirit willing to sacrifice anything and everything for the cause.
